Bonae Spei – Associação Cultural has organized the dissemination event “Who wants to be a….Cultural volunteer” in February 2022 in Figueira da Foz, Portugal. The central theme of these events was volunteering in cultural and artistic areas, which brought together current and former volunteers and organizations engaged in cultural and artistic volunteering projects. This event aimed to foster learning and sharing within the community and provide valuable insights into the world of volunteering.

The primary target group of this event were young individuals passionate about culture and the arts, with a keen interest in volunteering, either abroad or locally. This event provided them with valuable information about the kind of activities that can be undertaken in European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteering projects within the cultural and artistic sector.

The event had the following objectives:

◉ To promote the NEXT project and its expected results.

◉ To raise awareness of Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) programs.

◉ To give young people access to information about volunteering opportunities in their areas of interest.

◉ To facilitate the sharing of experiences among current and former volunteers, enhancing their communication skills and sense of initiative.

◉ To offer a platform for NGOs implementing volunteering projects to promote their activities and connect with potential future volunteers.
