Efektas Group has organized the dissemination event “Who wants to be a….Digital volunteer” in July 2022 in Kaunas, Lithuania. The central theme of these events was volunteering in digital areas, which brought together current and former volunteers and organizations engaged in digital volunteering projects. This event aimed to foster learning and sharing within the community and provide valuable insights into the world of volunteering.

The primary target group of this event were young individuals passionate about digital tools, with a keen interest in volunteering, either abroad or locally. This event provided them with valuable information about the kind of activities that can be undertaken in European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteering projects within the digital sector.

The event had the following objectives:

◉ To promote awareness of the NEXT project and its anticipated outcomes.

◉ To raise visibility and understanding of the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps (ESC) programs.

◉ To provide young individuals with access to information about digital volunteering opportunities aligned with their interests.

◉ To create a platform for current and former digital volunteers to share their experiences, thereby enhancing their communication skills and sense of initiative.

◉ To offer NGOs involved in digital volunteering projects an opportunity to showcase their initiatives and engage with potential future digital volunteers.
