Arrabal-Aid has organized the dissemination event “Who wants to be an….Environmental volunteer” in May 2023 in Malaga, Spain. The central theme of these events is volunteering in environmental areas, which brought together current and former volunteers and organizations engaged in environmental volunteering projects. This event aimed to foster learning and sharing within the community and provide valuable insights into the world of volunteering.

The primary target group of this event were young individuals passionate about the environment, with a keen interest in volunteering, either abroad or locally. This event provided them with valuable information about the kind of activities that can be undertaken in European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteering projects within the environment sector.

The event had the following objectives:

◉ To spotlight the NEXT project and its anticipated outcomes.

◉ To enhance awareness and comprehension of the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps (ESC) programs.

◉ To provide young people with access to information about environmental volunteering opportunities tailored to their interests.

◉ To create a platform for current and former sports volunteers to share their experiences, bolstering their communication skills and sense of initiative.

◉ To offer NGOs involved in environmental volunteering projects an avenue to showcase their initiatives and establish connections with potential future environmental volunteers.
