Bonae Spei, the coordinating organization of the project “And what NEXT? Future professional paths for volunteers”, successfully hosted a dynamic Multiplier Event on October 6th, 2023. This event served as a platform to showcase and promote the project’s transformative results to a diverse audience, including young people, current and former European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteers, youth workers, and stakeholders from Figueira da Foz.

 

The Multiplier Event, held in Figueira da Foz, unfolded as a compelling opportunity to share the project’s journey and outcomes. Bonae Spei, as the project coordinator, spearheaded engaging sessions aimed at empowering young people and shedding light on the pivotal role of volunteering in shaping future professional paths.

 

Attendees were treated to interactive demonstrations of the project’s online platform, showcasing its user-friendly features. The platform serves as a dynamic space for key actors in the youth field to connect, post opportunities, and engage with the broader volunteering community.

 

The comprehensive Employability Guide for youth practitioners, a key project output, was unveiled. Bonae Spei conducted informative sessions providing insights into the guide’s contents, equipping youth practitioners with the necessary tools and resources to guide and counsel volunteers effectively.

 

A focal point of the event was the announcement of enhancements to the feedback mechanism within the online platform. Bonae Spei demonstrated how this virtual recommendation system empowers volunteers, allowing them to receive constructive feedback from host organizations, thereby bolstering their profiles for future employment opportunities.

 

The project’s emphasis on fostering networking synergies among key actors in the labor market was highlighted. Attendees were encouraged to explore collaborative opportunities, promoting volunteering as a valuable tool for enhancing employment prospects.
